For their golden feats at the Kuala Lumpur 2017 SEA Games, sprinter Khairul Hafiz Jantan and shuttler Goh Jin Wei received a windfall of RM10,000 each from their sponsors, 100PLUS, here today.
Khairulbrought the house down when he won a stunning 100-metre race while Jin Wei delivered a smashing performance in the women’s singles final at the KL SEA Games. Both Khairul and Jin Wei are 100PLUS Brand Ambassadors.
“Khairul defied the immense pressure and ran an epic race which he convincingly won. The victory will go down in our sporting history and will long be remembered by Malaysians. Jin Wei meanwhile also managed to overcome the odds to claim a well-deserved gold medal,” said Ms Leong Wai Yin, 100PLUS Marketing Manager at a Press Conference today.
In recognition of their tremendous efforts, 100PLUS, the nation’s No.1 isotonic beverage, decided to reward the golden duo with the cash rewards. Both Khairul and Jin Wei lived up to the 100PLUS spirit of pushing themselves to the limit in their quest for success at the KL SEA Games.

There are two major events next year, the Commonwealth Games in April and the Asian Games in September, and hopefully these two athletes will be involved and bring more cheers to Malaysian fans.
