A Tesla GT race car piloted by Agustin Paya of Spain zips past a Bugatti Type 59 from the year 1934 ā€” which is actually a painting by Italian artist and Body Painting world champion Johannes Stoetter.

He painted the classic car on a banked curve at the long-since abandoned race circuit at Terramar in San Pere de Ribes, south of Barcelona, Spain.

The demonstration under the slogan of ā€œracingā€™s past meets racingā€™s futureā€ was designed to back the application of the Electric GT founders to FIA to launch a new all-electric World Championship in 2018 and celebrate the opening of the historic Terramar race track 95 years ago on 28-October-1923.

Stoetter was assisted by Swedish artist Vilja Vitkute.Ā
