Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA) is organizing a Cricket Coaching Workshop for 3 days starting Friday, 22nd till Sunday, 24th May 2015 at the Kinrara Oval. This workshop will be 75% on practical sessions while the theory or classroom sessions will touch on modern day coaching methodology, team management, error identification and correction. It will be more of a refresher for the coaches. Attending coaches too will be given slots to present their views of cricket coaching and how to move the game of cricket to the next level in Malaysia.
Rumesh Ratnayake, the ACC Regional Development Officers who has represented Sri Lanka in both test and ODI matches will conduct the workshop. He will be assisted by Ramani Batumalai an ACC Level 2 Coach/ Coach Educator, M. Muniandy ACC Level 3 Coach/ Coach Educator who is a former national player. It surely will be beneficial to all current and aspiring coaches. This time around MCA will be charging a fee of RM150 per coach attending the workshop. All participating coaches will be awarded a certificate at the end of the workshop on day three.
