Lanexang United of Laos made the final of the Toyota Mekong Club Championship 2016 when they beat Boeung Ket Angkor 3-0 at the National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh.
Despite playing away, Lanexang showed a lot of quality when Soukaphone Vongchiengkham nailed the opener in the 39th minute as Phoutthasay Khochalern then grabbed the second goal right at the end of the first half.
Lanexang were a lot tighter into the second half as Keoviengphet Lithideth then finished things off nine minutes to the end.
With the win, Lanexang have booked their place in the final where they will take on Buriram United of Thailand.
The first final will be played on 4 January In Vientiane before the return leg four days later in Bangkok.
