The AJFC Malaysia League which began on 18 March is in full swing with the league entering its third week in the Central Region.
Pawana United Football Club from Selangor is among the 19 teams competing in the Central Zone matches which are on-going at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
Coach Mohd Amir bin Abdullah says his team has been training vigorously and he is both confident and hopeful that some of his young charges will be among the top 18 players to selected for the Central Zone.
Apart from the Central Region, the competition will also be played across five other regions – East Malaysia, South, North, and the East Coast. The players will compete in the League to win 13 spots at AJFC Asia in Bali, Indonesia in July.
At AJFC Asia, the players will vie for three spots to train with record 26-time German Champions FC Bayern Munich’s youth coaches in Munich, Germany in August.
Hasrat menjadi Juara
Liga AJFC Malaysia yang telah bermula pada 18 Mac akan memasuki minggu ketiga di Daerah Wilayah.
Pawana United Football Club dari Selangor adalah antara 19 pasukan yang bertanding dalam perlawanan Zon Wilayah yang sedang berlangsung di Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
Jurulatih Mohd Amir bin Abdullah berkata pasukannya telah berlatih bersungguh-sungguh dan dia yakin dan berharap pemain-pemainnya akan dipilih sebagai antara 18 pemain terbaik bagi mewakili Zon Tengah.
Selain daripada Daerah Wilayah, pertandingan ini akan berlangsung di lima daerah yang lain – daerah Selatan, Utara, Pantai Timur dan Sabah. Para pemain akan bersaing dalam Liga tersebut untuk memenangi 13 tempat di AJFC Asia di Bali, Indonesia pada bulan Julai.
Di AJFC Asia, mereka akan bersaing untuk salah satu daripada tiga tempat untuk berlatih dengan jurulatih belia rekod 26-kali Juara Jerman FC Bayern Munich di Munich, Jerman pada bulan Ogos.
