District 8 won the overall title in the Women’s LS Cup or the HCM City Open Futsal Championships when they beat Hanoi 6-4 in the final.
But it was Hanoi who grabbed the advantage at the end of an exhilarating first half when they raced to a 4-2 lead.
However, with the handful of internationals on their side District 8 tightened up their defence in the second half to score four goals to secure the crown.
The best players from the LS Cup will represent Vietnam at the SEA Games in August.
