After the 308 Racing Cup’s opening clashes at Nogaro and Pau, round three of the calendar takes teams and drivers to Circuit Dijon-Prenois on July 1-2. The Burgundy venue, which has held six Formula 1 grands prix in the past, as well as numerous Sportscar World Championship races, will host an entry of 17 Peugeot 308 Racing Cups.
• After making their mark on the 2017 ‘Championnat de France des Circuits’ package thanks to their competitive performance and remarkable lap times, the field of Peugeot 308 Racing Cups will be able to unleash their 308 horsepower along Dijon’s particularly long straight.
• After winning three of the four races organised so far this year, Julien BRICHÉ tops the provisional 2017 standings, ahead of Juniors Teddy CLAIRET and Gaëtan PALETOU.
• At the end of the season, in addition to earning Peugeot Sport factory status, the winner of the 308 Racing Cup will be presented with a Perfo TCR 2018-specification 308 Racing Cup. The Junior and Gentleman Driver winners will be invited to contest the TCR Benelux race at Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium.

Six different podium finishers since the start of the season!
• The first four races of the 2017 308 Racing Cup have seen six different drivers secure top-three finishes. With a score of three wins to his name, and despite failing to finish on one occasion, Julien BRICHÉ (JSB Compétition) tops the provisional order on 65 points.
• In his wake is Teddy CLAIRET (Pussier Automobiles by Clairet Sport) who is the only driver to have finished every one of the four races contested to date on the podium. He is also the best-placed Junior. He is followed in the order by Gaëtan PALETOU (Milan Compétition) and the 2016 RCZ Racing Cup winner David POUGET (GPA Racing). Nicolas MILAN (Milan Compétition), who celebrated a top-three result in Pau, and Jimmy CLAIRET (Pussier Automobiles by Clairet Sport), who came second at Nogaro, are also very much still in the hunt.
• Also gunning for big points at Dijon-Prenois will be Belgium’s Matthieu DE ROBIANO (DRM by GPA Racing), Xavier GUYONNET (Pussier Automobiles by Clairet Sport), Sylvain PUSSIER (Pussier Automobiles by Clairet Sport), Julien GILBERT (Malti Compétition), Xavier FOUINEAU (JSB Compétition) and Stéphane VENTAJA (Pussier Automobiles by Clairet Sport).
Front-running Juniors!
• The early part of the inaugural 308 Racing Cup has seen several Juniors steal some of the limelight, including Gaëtan PALETOU, winner of one race already, and Teddy CLAIRET who has collected four podium finishes from four starts. These two youngsters are currently second and third in the provisional overall standings and battling just as fiercely for the season’s top prize as they are for the 2017 Under-25 crown!
• Giving chase are Amaury RICHARD (GPA Racing) and Belgium’s Maxime POTTY (JSB Compétition) who are targeting top performances this weekend to challenge for a footing on the podium.
Every point likely to count in the Gentleman Driver fight!
• After dominating the first two races at Nogaro, Spaniard Rafaël VILLANUEVA is eight points clear at the top of the provisional table, ahead of Denis GIBAUD (Milan Compétition) and Thierry BOYER (GPA Racing). With VILLANUEVA sitting out the trip to Dijon, his rivals will see round three as an opportunity to reverse the trend.
• Christian JAQUILLARD (JSB Compétition) will be joining the Gentleman Driver fray at Dijon-Prenois.
