Vietnam’s Hoang Anh Gia Lai FC have officially ended their decade long partnership with English club Arsenal.
One of the main reasons for the cessation of the relationship was the fact that after ten years, there has yet to be one player from Vietnam making the cut to play for Arsenal at whatever level.
HAGL, V.League champions in 2003 and 2004, started their collaboration with Arsenal back in 2007, where they built the Hoang Anh Gia Lai Arsenal JMG Academy – the first-ever football training centre in Vietnam.
