The Selayang Stadium has taken over as the other venue for the football event at KL2017 following the delay in the completion of the renovation work of the KLFA Stadium in Cheras.
“For now, we will be using the Selayang Stadium and Shah Alam Stadium for football,” said Dato’ Seri Zolkples Embong , the Chief Executive Officer of MASOC (KL2017 SEA Games Organising Committee).
“The UiTM Stadium and also the UM Arena Stadium will be set as standby venues in case the official locations are not enough to accommodate all the tournaments.” – BY DESLYIN YOON
