Singapore will take on Hong Kong in a friendly at the end of this month to polish up the squad for their AFC Asian Cup 2019 qualifiers against Turkmenistan.
Singapore will play Turkmenistan in the qualifying round of the AFC Asian Cup on 5 September 2017 at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
“The qualifier against Turkmenistan will be an important one for the team as we work towards qualifying for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup,” said V. Sundram Moorthy, the head coach of Singapore.
“The friendly against Hong Kong will give us a good opportunity to prepare before facing Turkmenistan, and we want the fans to come down to Jalan Besar Stadium to cheer the team on for both games.”
