Joshua Rahul Raj, Vharshamithraa Dinesh and Kerwin Teh made it a triple achievement when each won the Australian Squash Junior Open 2018 championship in their respective categories.
The tournament which took place in Queensland, Australia from 18-21 January saw a total of 202 participants.
Vharshamithraa started the ball rolling by beating Natalie Sayes (NZ) 11-4, 11-5, 11-8 in 21 minutes. Joshua was on the roll next when he knocked out Zane Wolpers (AUS) in just 16 minutes with a score of 11-3, 11-4, 11-5.
Kerwin made it 3 wins for Malaysia when he defeated Elijah Thomas (NZ) 11-6, 11-6, 13-15, 11-8 in 36 minutes.
It was a sweeter victory for Kerwin who also won the Ocenia Junior Championship 2018, Boys Under-17 category, which was held in Queensland, Australia from 11th January 2018 till 14th January 2018.
