The first ever Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific golf championship will be played at Sentosa Golf Club from 21-24 February 2018.
Taking place over the venue’s redeveloped New Tanjong course, the 72-hole strokeplay championship is the premier event for amateur golfers in the region and has drawn a stellar 84-player field from 17 different countries, featuring many of Asia’s top-ranked players.
The winner will receive the Rae-Vadee T. Suwan Champion’s Medal and earn invitations to play in two major championships – the ANA Inspiration at Mission Hills Country Club in California, USA; and the Ricoh Women’s British Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club in Lancashire, England – as well as a berth at the HSBC Women’s World Championship which takes place in the week following the championship on the same layout.
Set against the Singapore Straits with panoramic views of Singapore, Sentosa Golf Club is one of the most established clubs in the region and as home to both the SMBC Singapore Open and HSBC Women’s World Championship, will provide a fitting host to the region’s best amateur golfers. Entry is free so please do come down and support our players!
