Becamex Binh Duong picked up their sixth BTV Cup this week when their close 1-0 win over Vasco da Gama B of Brazil in the final at the Go Dau Stadium were enough to see them triumphant.
Mirchev Mitko scored the only goal of the game in the 57th minute.
Earlier, V-League champions Quang Nam came in third in the tournament after beating Hoang Anh Gia Lai 4-2 in the penalty shootout. The score at the end of regulation was 1-1.
Binh Duong walked away with VND 500 (USD 22,000), while the runner-ups and the third prize winners received VND 300 million (USD 13,200) and VND 150 million (USD 6,600) respectively.
