The FA of Indonesia (PSSI) have appointed Toshiyuki Nagi as their new Refereeing Technical Director on a year’s contract.

With vast experience under his belt which also saw him refereeing the FIFA World Cup 2014 opening game between hosts Brazil and Croatia, the appointment of Nagi would add further quality to Liga 1.

“This is an honour for me and I will use it to the best of my ability to improve the quality of referees in Indonesia. It is another challenge and I hope to contribute to football as much as I can,” said Nagi.

Nagi, who will be assisted by Toru Kamikawa and Yoshimi Ogawa, had already assisted to organize a Referee Refreshment Course on 12-15 January 2018.
