The Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) launched the MFF Futsal Open Cup 2018 this week with the hope of finding new players to be recruited into the national team.
Myanmar created history when they made the cut for the AFC Futsal Championship earlier in the year but they failed to make past the group stage when they lost all their matches.
This prompted the MFF to organise the MFF Futsal Open Cup 2018 with the hope of identifying new undiscovered talents.
In all, fifty teams from various states and regions will participate in the tournament where they are divided into 10 groups of five.
They will play in a round-robin competition with the best two best teams from each group getting into the knockout stage.
The competition will be held from 6-31 March 2018.
