Becamex Bình Duong held their nerves playing with ten men to hold FLC Thanh Hoa to a 3-3 draw in the V.League 2018 at the Go Dau Stadium.
Despite playing with ten men when To Van Vu was sent off in the 78th minute after both head coach Tran Minh Chien and his assistant was also commanded off the side line, Binh Duong scraped at least the one point late in the game.
Playing at home inspired Binh Duong and after some early pressure, earned a penalty for golden Ball holder Nguyen Anh Duc nailed the opener.
But Hoang Dình Tung levelled the score for Thanh Hoa in the 25th minute before taking the lead for the first time in the game off an own goal from Ho Tan Tai.
Binh Duong defender Nguyen Thanh Thao then put both teams on level terms as the hosts then grabbed the lead through Van Vu.
The red card for the latter then gave the initiative for Thanh Hoa to score through Pape Omar for the final goal of the game and also the one point.
Elsewhere, Can Tho and Song Lam Nghe An (SLNA) also battled to a 3-3 draw while defending champions Quang Nam beat Hai Phong 2-0.
Saigon FC recorded their first win of the season by beating Hoang Anh Gia Lai 3-1 while Nam D?nh lost to HCM City FC 3-1.
