ASEAN powerhouse did not get the result they were looking for in their final test ahead of the AFC Asian Cup which starts in a few days when they fell to a 2-0 loss to Oman.
Oman got the ball rolling after 25 minutes through Ahmed Mubarak before doubling the advantage off Mohsin Al Ghasani in the 55th minute.
For the AFC Asian Cup, Thailand are in Group A against hosts United Arab Emirates, India and Bahrain. They will open their campaign against India on 6 January 2019.
