U-16 Boys powerhouses Kuala Lumpur and Penang were drawn in opposite quarterfinal draw and could set an anti-climax match in the semifinal in the 100plus Interstate U-12 and U-16 Badminton Championship 2019.
Top seed Penang was drawn to face Johor, while Kuala Lumpur who is seeded 3rd will be up against Pahang in the quarterfinal tomorrow.
As for 4th seeded Selangor will meet Kelantan and Kedah will be faced with a tough match against Perak.
As for the U-16 Girls, 1st seed Penang looks to be given an easy task when drawn to meet Sarawak, while 3rd seed Kuala Lumpur is faced with a stiff challenge from 4th seeded Selangor.
Pahang to face Johor and Kedah to Malacca.
In the U-12 Boys, top seed Selangor will face tough opponent Penang who is seeded 3rd and Kedah will meet Negri Sembilan.
Kuala Lumpur will face Sarawak and surprised team Putrajaya will face-off with 2nd seed Johor.
In the U-12 Girls, favourites Penang will face 2nd seed Johor and Sabah who is the 3rd seed team will meet Pahang.
Selangor will face Malacca and Terengganu will meet Kuala Lumpur.
All quarterfinal matches will be played in the morning while semifinal matches will start later at 5pm.
