The Vietnam Futsal national team has lined up test matches against Thai League 1 side Hongyen Thakam FC and the Australia Futsal national team as their test matches at the end of the month.
They will take on Hongyen on 27 October 2024 and against Australia on 29 October 2024.
The team under head coach Diego Raul Giustozzi starts training this week in Ho Chi Minh City to begin preparations for the ASEAN Futsal Championship 2024.
Twenty players have been called for centralized training, with an emphasis on youngsters like Ala Vu Ngọc Anh and Pivot Nguyen Da Hai.
The ASEAN Futsal Championship 2024 will be held in Thailand on 2-10 November 2024.
Group A is Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, and Timor Leste while Group B consists of Indonesia, Myanmar, Australia, and Cambodia.
