The ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup™ 2024 Trophy Tour will make the final stop on its six-date trek around Southeast Asia on Saturday when the prestigious trophy goes on display in Manila’s Glorietta Activity Center.
Recently-appointed Philippines coach Albert Capellas and former national team stars Misagh Bahadoran and Aly Borromeo will join the latest round of festivities, which run from 11am to 5pm and also feature a performance by TV actress and singer Ornella Brianna.
Entry for the event is free and open to the public with passes for exclusive Meet & Greet sessions available to be won via the Asean United FC official website and social media platforms.
Fans attending the Trophy Tour will also have the opportunity to win exclusive ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup™ 2024 merchandise at games booths as well as witness on-site performances and take photographs with the prestigious trophy.
In addition, Bahadoran and Borromeo will assist in conducting a clinic for aspiring young footballers based on the “Okada” method, devised by the highly respected former Japan national team coach Takeshi Okada.
Mitsubishi Electric, in conjunction with the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup™ 2024 Trophy Tour, will organise the clinic, which will feature lessons and mini games, at the Tuloy Sa Don Bosco Football Field on Saturday from 10am to 12.30pm.

The Mitsubishi Electric Cup™ is the region’s leading football event and the competition will return for its 15th edition in December. Thailand have won the title a record seven times while the Philippines have reached the semi-finals on four occasions, most recently in 2018.
In the 28 years since its creation, the event has grown from a two week-long centralised tournament into a competition that is currently played across the region over a six-week period in front of sold-out stadiums in Hanoi, Bangkok, Manila, Jakarta and beyond.
The group phase of the 2024 edition of the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup™ kicks off on December 8 with Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia and playoff winners Timor-Leste competing in Group A.
Group B, meanwhile, will feature Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar and Laos, with the top two finishers in each group advancing to the next round.
The semi-finals will be played on a home-and-away basis on December 26-27 and 29-30 with the final on January 2 and 5.
