Laos put up a battling performance to hold Thailand to a 1-1 draw in the friendly that was played last night at the Thammasat Stadium.
The Thais, who were held to a scoreless draw by Lebanon a few days earlier, just could not find a way through in the first half.
However, the ASEAN champions finally found the lead at the hour mark through Seksan Ratree before Bounphachan Bounkong grabbed the equaliser for Laos nine minutes later.
