Madura United’s stocky defender Alfatah Fahtier will be making his debut when the Indonesia national side take on Myanmar in a friendly on 10 October 2018.
The friendly will be played at the Wibawa Mukti Stadium in Cikarang where they will also take in Hong Kong as part of their preparation for the AFF Suzuki Cup next month.
“I keep telling the players that they need to train at 100% as that is the only sure way to get selected to play,” said Indonesia interim head coach Bima Sakti.
Other than Alfatah, the other player who will be anxious to impress would be naturalised player Esteban Vizcarra, who currently plays for Sriwijaya FC.
