A dominant Australian side failed to catch a break with their full on possession when the defending champions fell to a 1-0 loss to Jordan in their opening game in Group B of the AFC Asian Cup.
In the match that was played at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain, the Australians were expected to dominate but they just could not make any of their chances count.
Defender Anas Bani Yaseen headed in the only goal of the game in the 26th minute.
