Desaru Coast, a popular holiday destination on the eastern shores of Johor, will play host to the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Desaru Coast. The event will be the third IRONMAN location to be held in Malaysia, and the first in the southern tip of Peninsular Malaysia.
IRONMAN 70.3 Desaru Coast is the newest addition to the IRONMAN Asia event calendar. The inaugural event will be held as part of a wider Desaru Coast Multisport Festival. The festival will have the first 5150 Triathlon event in Malaysia as well as a SPRINT Triathlon and IRONKIDS.
Desaru Coast is ideal for first time triathletes due to its pristine nature of sand, sea and jungle, a setting that offers no distraction and pure focus on the race ahead.
