Winners of Test of Will, the 4th edition of Under Armour’s annual urban fitness challenge was announced today with Zain Zulkifli and Hui Hui Lim named the official Male and Female champions of the Elite Category. They each walked away with a cash prize of RM 10,000 together with Ace Koh and Boo Chai Yee, winners of the Open Category, bringing home RM 7,000 each.
Held at IOI City Mall Putrajaya Kuala Lumpur, the competition pitted participants against four challenges designed to put their will and endurance to the test. Each participant completed the Double Rope Slams, Rope Russian Twist, Reverse Lunges and Rope Pull challenges across three age categories and an all-new elite category for added intensity.
“The main goal of Under Armour is to help athletes perform better. Test of Will is a platform created for everyday fitness enthusiasts to push the limits of their strength, endurance, and power. We were very encouraged by the determination of each participant who placed their strength and willpower to test with exemplary sportsmanship, regardless of their fitness level,” said Mr. Michael Binger, CEO of Triple Pte Ltd, the exclusive distributor of Under Armour in Southeast Asia.
“At first, I thought I would not cope with the challenges of Test of Will. Motivation from family members and friends kept me going with confidence. Diet played a vital role in my training too and the three weeks leading up to Test of Will were the most intense moments of my life. I trained almost every day at Celebrity Fitness One Utama, and I’m glad it all paid off,” said Zain Zulkifli, Male Champion of the Elite Category at Test of Will.

Test of Will 2019 was supported by official fitness partner – Celebrity Fitness and were also the official judges for the challenges. Warm-up sessions were conducted by Garmin and cool-down sessions by Sanctband to help participants recover and stretch. Other official sponsors of Test of Will included official equipment partner – Fitness League, and supporting partner sponsors – L’Occitane and Shoe Mo.
Under Armour also showcased the new RUSH collection, its newest performance apparel range featuring mineral-infused fabric with Celliant technology that can help improve strength and endurance as well as the Recovery collection for post-training recovery. Both collections were displayed at the RUSH Lab for visitors to touch and feel the collection first hand.
