Three out of five ASEAN representatives have made the quarterfinals of the AFC Championship which will take place later tonight in Jakarta.
Australia, Indonesia and Thailand survived the cut to the next round while Malaysia and Vietnam were dumped out of the group stage after finishing at the bottom of Group C and Group D respectively.
Australia came in as runners-up from Group C behind South Korea and where they will take on Saudi Arabia on 29 October 2018 at the Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium in Bekasi.
Hosts Indonesia also came in second in Group A behind Qatar and where they will play Japan later tonight at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta.
Thailand, who came in second in Group B behind Japan, will also be playing tonight in the quarter-finals where they will take on Saudi Arabia at the Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium in Bekasi.
