Bima Sakti, the head coach of the Indonesian national Under-16 team, has called up 34 players in preparation for the AFF U16 Championship later this year.
The camp will be held in Jakarta starting this week until 12 March 2022.
“We are grateful to PSSI President (Mochamad Iriawan) for arranging this camp. We hope that through this camp, it will help in the further development of the national U16 squad,” said Bima.
“My hope is that we can form a strong U16 team for the upcoming tournaments.”
Persija Jakarta (with eight players) and Borneo FC (with six players) contributed the most talents to the squad.
