The Thais were 2-0 up after winning the women’s first doubles. Puttita Supajirakul-Sapsiree Taerattanachai, however, needed 75 minutes to subdue Malaysia’s number one pair Vivian Hoo-Woon Khe Wei 9-21, 21-11, 21-18.
