When the Philippines national team walk onto the pitch for the second round qualifiers of the FIFA World Cup 2023 in the middle of the month, captain and goalkeeper Neil Etheridge said each and every fan showing up at the Rizal Memorial Stadium would prove crucial to the success of the team.

Etheridge started playing for the national team in 2008, going on to accumulate 75 caps for the country.
