Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership (FMLLP) have signed up with Ampersand Sports in a deal worth at least RM104 million with the latter being appointed as the exclusive agency for tournament sponsorship rights.
The deal is for five years starting from 2018.
FMLLP is the company that operate and administer football competitions in Malaysia namely the Super League, Premier League, Malaysia Cup, FA Cup and also the Charity Shield.
HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, President of the FA of Malaysia (FAM) attended the event alongside Tan Sri Vincent Lee, Chairman of Ampersand Sports.
