The former-secretary-general of the Football Association of Sarawak Razali Dolhan has been charged with criminal breach of trust (CBT) involving RM191,298.70.
Dayak Daily reported that Razali, 49, was slapped with three charges before magistrate Dayang Ellyn Narsia Abang Ahmad in a magistrate’s court in Kuching on Friday (Aug 2).
The charges: While serving as secretary-general of the FAS, allegedly committed the breach of trust amounting to RM139, 920, RM21,378.70 and RM30,000 belonging to football body on Feb 4, Feb 13 and Jan 18, 2017, respectively.
He was charged under Section 408 of the Penal Code which carries imprisonment between one and 14 years and liable to whipping and fine upon conviction.
Razali is also a board of director of the Malaysian Football League (MFL) and sits on the committee of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).
The judge fixed Aug 14 for pre-trial case management and allowed bail of RM8,000 with two local sureties. The accused was ordered to report to the nearest police station once every fortnight. RIZAL ABDULLAHÂ
