Vietnam Futsal head coach Diego Raul Giustozzi has dropped four players ahead of tomorrow’s test match against Hongyen Thakam FC.The four players dropped from the training squad of 20 are goalkeeper Mai Xuan Hiep, ala Duong Ngoc Linh, Ngo Minh Hieu, and pivot Dao Minh Quang.Other than the game against Hongyen, the defending champions of the Futsal Thai League, the Vietnam Futsal team will also play Australia on 29 October 2024.A further two players will then be dropped from the list of 16 players before the squad start their campaign in the ASEAN Futsal Championship on 2-10 November 2024.Group A is Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, and Timor Leste while Group B is Indonesia, Myanmar, Australia and Cambodia.“All the teams in the region have all improved, not only Thailand but Malaysia and Indonesia can also be considered concerns.
