Vietnam head coach Park Hang-seo has announced his squad for the AFC Asian Cup next week.
He has dropped Luc Xuan Hung due to an injury while Nguyen Hoang Duc, Ngo Tung Quoc and Phan Thanh Hau were left out due to the inability of the trio to adapt to the team’s playing style.
From the list of 24 players, Hang-seo will have to leave out one player before his arrival to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Vietnam, who will be having their camp in Qatar, will play their final friendly against the Philippines on 31 January 2018.
For the Asian Cup, Vietnam are in Group D against Iraq, Iran and Yemen.
