Indonesia Futsal head coach Vic Hermans has announced the 16 players who will carry the country’s challenge for the AFF HDBank Futsal Championship 2017.
The tournament which is being used for the AFC Futsal qualifiers will be held on 28 October to 3 November 2017.
Out of the 16 players who were named this week, only five players had played for the Indonesian national side previously and they are Sunny Rizky Suhendra, Bambang Bayu Saptaji, Randy Satria Mushar, M. Iqbal Iskandar, and Ardiansyah Runtuboy.
Randy is the oldest player in the squad at 28-years-old while the youngest is 18-years-old Ardiansyah Runtuboy.
Five players from the U20 were selected for the trip to Ho Chi Minh City and they Muhammad Albagir, Runtuboy, Syauqi Saud Lubis, and Aditya Muhammad.
Others in the squad are Bima Febrian, Abdul Rochman Nawawi and Guntur Sulistyo.
Indonesia are in Group A against hosts Vietnam, Myanmar, Brunei and the Philippines.
