Indonesia will take on Mauritius in a friendly on Tuesday as they gear up for the AFF Suzuki Cup in November this year.
The match will be played at the Wibawa Mukti Stadium with interim coach Bima Sakti in charge and where he will be assisted by Danurwindo.
“The match against Mauritius is the first friendly which we have lined up in preparation for the AFF Suzuki Cup at the end of the year,” said FA of Indonesia (PSSI) general secretary Ratu Tisha.
“We have also arranged for the national team to play against Myanmar and also another country which we will confirmed at a later date.”
Added Bima: “the team that we have called up is a combination of the older players and also from the Under-23 that played at the recent Asian Games.”
“Mauritius will be a good test as they are a fast side and we need to ve careful while we chase for a win.”
For the AFF Suzuki Cup, Indonesia have been placed in Group B against Thailand, Singapore, Philippines and also Timor Leste.
