Indra Sjafri, the head coach of the Indonesia Under-19 team, has announced his list of players for the AFC U19 Championship which starts next week.

The AFC U19 Championship will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia on 18 October to 4 November 2018.

“The list of players that we have selected was based on the need of the team. It is too bad that we could not take more players but that is due to the regulation which has been set,” said Indra.

“We are quite confident of achieving the target which has been which is to make the Under-20 FIFA World Cup. We have to work hard and never give up and also the hopes and prayers from the Indonesian populace will drive us through.”

Indonesia are in Group A against Chinese Taipei, Qatar and United Arab Emirates with all matches to be played at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta.
