# Malaysian falls to Jorgensen in second round
# ‘I still have way to go to replace Chong Wei – Iskandar

Iskandar Zulkarnain’s failure to reach the quarter-finals in the Malaysia Open SuperSeries Premier has only opened a wider picture for the national champion.
At the Malawati Stadium in Shah Alam on Thursday, the 24-year-old Iskandar fell to a 7-21, 16-21 defeat to Denmark’s Jan O Jorgensen in 33 minutes in a second round match. But he is certainly not disheartened by his exit.
Coming through the qualifying rounds and playing in his first SuperSeries was a “new experience” that augurs well for the Johor lad.
“It only means that I am still far behind when playing the top 10 players in the world,” said a disappointed Iskandar who defeated Indonesia’s Anthony Ginting in the first round.
“Don’t compare me to Lee Chong Wei, the gap is still huge. I have still a long way to go but the experience of playing in the Malaysia Open is priceless. I will only get better playing in bigger tournaments.”
Jorgensen had some nice words for Iskandar and said: “He (Iskandar) can improve his game through experience.”
