Japan and Qatar have been chosen as the two venues for the Vietnam Under-19 team as they look ahead to the AFC U19 Championship that will be held in October in Indonesia.
The team under head coach Hoang Anh Tuan has 24 players for the training camp which will begin in Nghe An province before a 12-day trip to Japan from 28 August.
The team will then travel to Qatar where they play in a tournament featuring the hosts and Uruguay.
Anh Tuan will be hoping to repeat or do better than in 2016 when he led the Vietnam squad to a historic semi-final appearance at the AFC meet.
For the championship, Vietnam have been placed in Group C against South Korea, Australia and Jordan.
