# Frenz United free to use JDT II and JDT III facilities in Pasir Gudang

# JDT may reserve two fields for Frenz United at JDT Academy in Kulai

 

Malaysian Super League champions and AFC Cup winners Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) are spreading their wings of cooperation to develop football and produce players with high integrity and professionalism.

After the tie-up with German giants Borussia Dortmund last year, the Johor outfit have signed cooperation with local club Frenz United – a first.

With the cooperation, Frenz United will be able to use all the facilities and the Pasir Gudang Stadium in Pasir Gudang currently used JDT II and JDT III for free.

JDT owner Brigadier General Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim also announced that Frenz United will be reserved two fields at the JDT Academy to be build in Kulai.

“We will also work towards grassroots development whereby Frenz United players can represent JDT,” said Brig Gen Tunku Ismail who is also the Crown Prince of Johor.

Present at the press conference were JDT’s newly appointed Sporting Director Alistair Edwards and Frenz United owner Rashid Maidin.

JDT created Malaysian football history when it became the first team from the country to win the AFC Cup with a 1-0 win over FC Istiklol in Dushanbe, Tajikistan last year.
