# Hive of activities at Dataran Bandaraya, Johor Bahru on Jan 12
 
 
Reigning Malaysian Super League champions Johor Darul Takzim’s (JDT) new jersey launch on Jan 12 will also become the Southern Tigers opening ceremony for the 2018 season.
 
And thanks to usage of the Virtual Reality technology the launch will be watched worldwide around the world. The Johor outfit has gained worldwide reputation and has built a strong base of fans as far as America apart from Asia and Europe.
 
JDT’s launch will be held at the Dataran Bandaraya in Johor Bahru – the venue where JDT’s successes have been celebrated in the past.
 
Besides the sale of official JDT and Boys of Straits official merchandise there will also be performances by artists, food trucks and a play area for children.
 
JDT is the first team ever in the country to win the Malaysian Super League four-times in a row from 2014. Last year JDT also won their first ever Malaysia Cup with a 2-0 win over holders Kedah in the final.
 
The Southern Tigers also wrote Malaysian football history as the first team to win the AFC Cup in 2015.BY RIZAL ABDULLAH
