Lanexang United of Laos make the semi-finals of the Toyota Mekong Club Championships after drawing Myanmar champions Yadanarbon FC 3-3 in the last group fixture.
Despite playing away at the Mandalarthiri Stadium in Mandalay, there was no stopping Lanexang from taking the lead through Manolom Phomsouvanh in the 11th minute before Latsamy Phachantha doubled the advantage two minutes later.
But Yadanarbon fought back with their first goal of the game in the 21st minute through veteran striker Yan Paing as Soukaphone then restored Lanexang’s two-goal advantage in the 83rd minute.
The last five minutes are all Yadanarbon with William slamming home in the 85th minute and then Wada Yuya deep in injury time.
In the semi-finals, Lanexang will take on Boeung Ket Angkor of Cambodia.
