The Laos Football Federation (LFF) have appointed former Japanese national midfielder Nayuha Toyoda as the new head coach of the Laos women’s national team.

The 37-year-old from Kamakura has extensive playing experience at the club level with Club Nippon, Albirex Niigata and Yokohama FC Seagulls among others.

She first played for Japan at the tender age of 18-years-old and even featured for her country at the FIFA World Cup 2007.

Toyoda holds a JFA A licence certificate which is equivalent to an AFC A’ licence.
