PETALING JAYA (3 Sept 2019) – Both Malaysia and Myanmar national Futsal teams have been lined up to take part in the China Football Association (CFA) International Futsal Tournament slated for 7-10 September 2019 in Chengdu.
The tournament also features hosts China and Mexico.
Both Malaysia and Myanmar are using this Chengdu tournament as further tests ahead of their participation in the AFF Futsal Championship 2019 next month.
For the AFF Futsal meet in Ho Chi Minh City on 21-27 October 2019, Malaysia are in Group B against hosts Vietnam, Indonesia and Australia.
Myanmar are in Group A against defending champions Thailand, Timor Leste and Cambodia.
