Ambitious Persib Bandung have stolen the march from their Malaysian counterparts when they raced to sign Mario Gomez as their new head coach.
Argentinean Roberto Carlos Mario Gomez was announced as the new boss by PT PERSIB Bandung Bermartabat (PERSIB) yesterday.
Gomez, who had guided Malaysian Super League champions JDT to the AFC Cup crown in 2015, has signed up for two years.
The 60-year-old will be unveiled as the Persib’s new coach in early December 2017.
