Melbourne City have confirmed they have signed two Australian youth products to its Hyundai A-League roster.

Current  Scholarship Player Christian Cavallo has been elevated to a full Hyundai A-League contract until the end of the 2017/18 Season.

Cavallo, 21, has been a consistent contributor in City’s youth system over the past two seasons, having made his debut for the senior City team in October 2016.

And the club has also added 17-year-old striker Moudi Najjar on a Hyundai A-League Scholarship Player contract for two seasons.

Najjar, an exciting forward, has joined City from Western Sydney Wanderers where he emerged through their youth system, scoring 19 goals In 18 matches for the club’s U18s team.

Najjar was later promoted to the Wanderers’ U20s and National Premier Leagues 2 squad, before earning a Y-League contract last season, making this his first senior deal.

Meanwhile, City also confirmed young striker Braedyn Crowley has mutually agreed with the club to terminate his contract to pursue other opportunities.

The 21-year-old joined the club from Newcastle Jets in 2016 and made four appearances for City in the Hyundai A-League. – www.a-league.com.au
