The final of the men’s football event for KL2017 will be held at the Shah Alam Stadium on Tuesday, 29 August 2017.
This follows a meeting between the FA of Malaysia (FAM) and also the Malaysia Organising Committee this morning.
The battle for the men’s football gold medal will be fought between defending champions Thailand and hosts Malaysia.
Thailand made the final after beating Myanmar while Malaysia edge Indonesia with the same 1-0 scoreline.
The final match at the Shah Alam Stadium will kick off at 2045hrs.
The third and fourth placing match between Myanmar and Indonesia will be held at the Selayang Stadium earlier at 4pm the same day.
