It was a difficult start for the Malaysian youngster who started 21st on the grid as there were too many riders dicing at the first few turns. After climbing to 16th at the start of the race, he dropped back to 20th. Hafizh then fought hard during the entire race and ended the race at 12th placing.

Overall, it was a difficult weekend starting from the practice session when everything was not working as expected. There were some problem with the rear shock and that slowed the development and improvement on the bike for the Qualifying session.

The team is looking at getting better upgraded parts soon for further testing and evaluation and hopefully the parts could be ready for use in the next race.

Jonas Folger won his secong race of the season after passing Tito Rabat midway and held the position till he took the chequered flag. Rabat cross the line second after a collision with Alex Rins in the very last corner but stayed ahead of Johann Zarco who finished third.

Other Malaysian in the Moto2 are Azlan Shah who is still chasing for that single point, could only managed 21st while Zaidi Zaqhwan took the last spot in 26th.

Meanwhile in the Moto3 class, our only representative rider Zulfahmi Khairruddin had another disappointing outing who ended his race in 26th.

Hafizh
The start of the race was difficult. Too many riders were pushing at every turn and the situation were getting a bit dangerous. Then I was bogged down behind Sam Lowes for two laps and that cost me a lot of time to catch up with the riders in front. I had to work hard again after passing him to gain position after position and this is the best that I could managed for this race. We look forward for the next race in Le Mans.

Kudos to Hafizh for this race. We did not get the best from the starr of this weekend. We keep having problem during the first session and a good 40 minutes was lost. We need to be able to maximize our time on track and make the required improvement as fast as possible. We hope that it will be better for the next race as we are expecting some new improved parts to assist Hafizh.
