Kah Ming-Juan Shen, who upset seventh seeds Liao Min-chun-Su Ching-heng of Chinese Taipei in the second round, continued their winning ways in a 51-minute three-game thriller, prevailing 21-19, 14-21, 21-15 against Thailand’s Kittinupong Kedren-Dechapol Puavaranukroh.
In the semi-finals, Kah Ming-Juan Shen will face Japan’s eighth seeds Hiroyuki Endo-Yuta Watanabe of Japan who ousted Aaron Chia-Wooi Yikin in straight games 22-20, 21-14 in 42 minutes.
