This was confirmed by BWF Secretary General Thomas Lund earlier today which is the deadline date for the world-governing body to indicate its nomination of any players for wild-card entry into the prestigious tournament.

There will also be no wild cards for host nation, China, as they have qualified in all five categories, thereby making the host wild card inapplicable.

The TOTAL BWF World Championships will be held in Nanjing from 30 July to 5 August 2018.
