Long time duo – Nuengrutai Srathongvian and Nualphan Lamsam – have called it a day as the head coach and team manager respectively of Thailand women’s national team.
The two have been at the helm of the Thai women’s team for more than ten years where they have notched a handful of successes including qualifying for the FIFA Women’s World Cup twice.
“Being the manager of the women’s football team for 12 years has been the highlight of my career,” said Nualphan.
“The coach and I have already agreed that we will leave our roles. Thank you to all the players for the hard work and for their support.”
Thailand were eliminated from France 2019 following Group F defeats to the United States, Sweden and Chile.
